Wideband Wavelength Conversion Of 16 Gbaud 16-Qam Signals In A Semiconductor Optical Amplifier
Abstract
We demonstrate wavelength conversion of 16-QAM signals over the entire C-band with low power penalty (<1.5 dB) at the FEC threshold using a dual pump configuration. We also investigate the power penalty dependence on input OSNR.
