This study investigates the organizational transformation of securities brokerage firms under the EC environment in Taiwan. The findings are: 1. Technology strategy is the most important strategy for brokerage firms to implement online trading; 2. The transformation strategies among the brokerage firms that have different environmental factors are significantly different; 3. The added value product and organizational change strategies have significant impacts on some performance indices; 4.
