User-friendly monitoring system for residential PV system based on low-cost power line communication
Abstract
This paper describes a low-cost photovoltaic (PV) monitoring system based on power line communication (PLC). For cost reduction, the system adopts a baseband serial communication to remove the modulation transceiver. It monitors PV modules. The data logger aggregates the monitored data. Users can access the data logger through smart devices.
