Abstract
•This study found eight key issues in aged care.•Technologies that have been proposed to overcome those problems were identified.•We categorised these assistive technologies into six clusters.•This study analyzed the effectiveness of the identified technologies.•A number of the technologies have a positive impact on enhancing seniors’ lives.
