Wavelet leader multifractal analysis of period and amplitude sequences from sustained vowels
Abstract
•We study amplitude and period sequences from vowels with multifractal analysis.•We show both sequences have a rich scaling and multifractal behavior.•We study classification between healthy and nonhealthy voice.•We conclude that sequences should be modelled using the multifractal paradigm.
