This letter considers the problem of FRESH filter-based spectrum sensing of cyclostationary signals. In such a system, the cyclic frequency of the signal of interest known at the spectrum sensor may differ from its true value causing an offset. The effect of this offset on the FRESH filter performance is derived and a method to compensate for this is proposed. It is then shown via simulations that the proposed method can counter the effect of cyclic frequency offset (CFO). |
