Title
A PWM Fuzzy Logic Controller
Abstract
Fuzzy--logic controllers have found an extensive application in the last few years. Several fuzzy chips have been presented in the literature and some of them are now commercially available. This article presents the silicon implementation of a fuzzy--logic controller which uses a current--mode circuit for the input membership functions, and pulse--stream arithmetic in the inference process. The circuit has been fabricated using a standard 1.5\mu CMOS process.
