Title
Estimation of rice leaf nitrogen contents based on hyperspectral LIDAR
Abstract
•We introduced a novel active remote sensing technology, hyperspectral LIDAR (HL).•The wavelength selection and channel correction method of HL were discussed.•The SVM was used to estimate nitrogen contents of rice leaf under different nitrogen levels.•Increasing the number of wavelengths such as the channels of HL would improve the classification accuracy and regression coefficient r2.•SVM was a useful regression method for nitrogen contents retrieval of rice leaf.
