Abstract | ||

we present a ocean surface waves and winds simultaneous retrieval method for the RADARSAT-2 fully polarimetric synthetic aperture radar (FP-SAR) imaging mode. This algorithm integrates FP-SAR wind vector retrieval model with nonlinear mapping relations between ocean wave spectrum and SAR image spectrum, to synergistically retrieve wind field and wave directional spectrum. The method does not require a priori information on the sea state. The proposed method can simultaneously acquire ocean surface wave and wind information. |
