This work provides an overview on the evolution of the Differential Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry (DInSAR) scenario in the last 25 years, from the ERS-1 to the SENTINEL-1 mission, with particular emphasis given to the advanced DInSAR methodologies. Moreover, the discussion is also focused on the observed drastic requirements increase related to the collected SAR data archives as well as on the developments of new solutions for an efficient processing of these data and the analysis of the achieved results. |
