Title
The National Entironmental and Geological Information System for Remote Sensing Survey and Monitoring
Abstract
From 2003 to 2010, in the due process of carrying out the Project of “The Remote Sensing Survey and Monitoring on National Entironmental and Geological Backgrounds”, the National Entironmental and Geological Information System for Remote Sensing Survey and Monitoring (Known as “NEGISRSSM”) was established to meet the demand of result data management and application. The System consists of 11 functional modules, such as database management module, data search module, data browse module and tools module, etc. NEGISRSSM has laid a sound foundation for the integrated management of the result data from Remote Sensing Survey and Monitoring on Ecological Geology Environment, and has also provided a favorable application environment for its research. Apart from managing the result data, the System can also provide a series of application services. It not only can expand the data application, but also can improve the service quality of the geological research results.
