Abstract | ||

This paper presents a novel iterative frequency domain equalization (FDE) algorithm for uplink Single Carrier (SC) Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA) multiuser MIMO systems. The proposed FDE scheme improves the system performance by taking into consideration the complete second order statistics of the received signal in frequency domain. Our analytical model is in line with 3GPP uplink SC-FDMA transmission with Multi-user (MU) Spatial Division Multiplexing (SDM). The results show that the proposed MU-MIMO with the new FDE significantly improves the bit errar rate (BER) performance in comparison with the conventional scheme for the system under consideration. |
