Abstract | ||

3GPP Rel-13 machine-type communication (MTC) has been standardized targeting coverage enhancement, low cost and low complexity, and low power consumption for delay tolerant small data transmission. This paper describes feasible coverage enhancement techniques for the uplink data transmission and evaluates the performance of physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) for MTC considering the impact on the number of repetitions. |
