Title
A Novel Adaptive Dual-Interleaving And Angle Detection Spatial Modulation Scheme For Wireless Communication Systems
Abstract
Spatial Modulation (SM) is utilized to overcome the negative influences of inter-channel interference (ICI) and enhance the spectral efficiency in multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) systems. Bit-interleaved Coded Spatial Modulation (BICSM) is proposed with the aim of improving the Bit Error Rate (BER) performance of SM systems. In our paper, a novel approach based on adaptive dual-interleaving is proposed to enhance the performance of spatial modulation orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (SM-OFDM) systems further. The proposed schemes fully exploits the characteristics of SM particularly and differs the conventional bit-interleaving scheme which neglect the inherent information of SM systems. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed adaptive dual-interleaving can enhance the BER performance of SM systems apparently and provide higher spectral efficiency simultaneously without increasing the complexity of systems, making it an excellent candidate technology for future wireless local area networks.
