Over the past few years cloud computing has skyrocketed in popularity with the IT industry. Connected to this growing popularity is an increasing level of concern over the security of the cloud computing infrastructure. Despite this concern, cloud providers do not disclose any information about their security precautions. With no information on the security precautions, a provider’s clients cannot be certain that their applications are safe from attack. Furthermore, clients are not granted access to the network level of the system to implement any of their own security features. |
