An off-line system for visible-light communication based on DC-biased optical OFDM was introduced and realized at a speed of 115Mbit/s with a bit-error ratio below 2×10-3. The system can also help adjusting the parameter selection to achieve the system's maximum transmission rate to design a high speed real-time system. The algorithms for pre-equalization and reducing the Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) of an OFDM system have been designed and realized. Experimental results show that the proposed system can achieve better performance. |
