Title
Spectrum Mobility in Cognitive Radio-Based Vehicular Cyber Physical Networks: A Fuzzy Emotion-Inspired Scheme.
Abstract
Communication using electromagnetic waves in radio frequencies requires certain stability parameters. In cognitive radio based vehicular cyber physical networks spectrum mobility without the loss of an on-going data conversation can be a challenging task. We present an approach to solving this complex problem by introducing fear emotion in the spectrum shifter module of the cognitive radio site (CR-Site). A probabilistic deterministic finite automaton using the fear factor has been proposed to perform efficient spectrum mobility based on actual measured signal strengths of different GSM service providers in a case study along a busy road. We have employed Fuzzy logic to quantify fear. Simulation results confirm the validity of the proposed fear-inspired spectrum mobility scheme in cognitive radio high speed vehicular networks.
