Title
A Cloud-Based High-Speed Rail Information Service Platform Architecture
Abstract
With the rapid development of High-Speed Rail (HSR), it greatly improves the quality of life and puts forward higher demands for HSR information service simultaneously. Although much work has been done to promote the level of HSR information service, there are still many deficiencies currently. In this paper, we present a cloud-based HSR information service platform (HISP) architecture which is mainly consisted of data center and HSR application engine (HAE), improving the information service level of HSR. Data center is composed of unified ground data center and on-board data center of each HSR. HAE is a PaaS model providing multi-lingual and elastic server runtime environment for application developers. We adopt a lightweight virtualization technology of Docker to build HAE. HISP not only can provide various personalized services for passenger, but also improve efficiency of HSR management. Heterogeneous sub-systems can share information with each other through HISP.
