Title
Linear Threshold Behavioral Model for the Spread of Influence in Recommendation Services
Abstract
Understanding and modeling the spread of influence is an important topic in social network analysis and therefore attracts many researchers to this area. It has several practical applications such as viral marketing. In this paper, we propose a new method (Linear Threshold Behavioral Model) for modeling the spread of influence in social networks. Experiments were conducted on three, real-world datasets regarding the domain of recommendation services and the method was compared with popular, state-of-the-art methods devoted to modeling the spread of influence. The results indicate a high accuracy of the method.
