This paper describes a software framework for building the Internet of Things widget with Raspberry Pi. This framework utilizes an interactive animation authoring tool called 'Islay,' which generates an interactive animation written in a programming language. A generated program for Raspberry Pi runs without any operating system. It is a bootable program, which uses hardware timer interrupt by itself. This paper gives an overview of the framework, some description of Raspberry Pi, and its mechanism of timer interrupt as well as a preliminary evaluation of a program using timer interrupt. |
