Title
Extended Abstract: Efficient Dynamic Mobile Sensing Strategies for Context-Aware Applications
Abstract
The availability of a wide range of embedded and external wearable sensors enables the development of new mobile applications with rich contextual information. Unfortunately, acquiring contextual information accurately and instantly comes at the expense of energy consumption and processing overhead. We propose the investigation of an efficient dynamic mobile sensing framework that allows intelligent interaction with sensors while optimizing performance metrics such as energy, accuracy, delay, and processing overhead.
