Learning the concept of time is a difficult undertaking for humans. Children need years to fully grasp the concept of time, past, present and future. However, a daily routine consisting of timed activities becomes more common for children as they progress in age. In this paper we present TimeLight, an interactive light display to help children understand and learn the concept of duration of short periods up to 30 minutes. We demonstrate the steps taking in the development process and present our progress beyond the state of the art. |
