This paper describes the rationale for a choice, basic features, and test results of the Smart House control system model that has been developed for small and medium size households. To resolve common problems found in the existing Smart House systems, the authors proposed installing a virtual machine monitor, also known as a hypervisor, on to a personal desktop computer. This approach centralized the entire system, simplified its installation and configuration processes, and increased its cost effectiveness. The paper provides a series of experiments on installing hypervisors known manufacturers to ordinary personal computers. Shows the result of the work of hypervisors with deployed virtual machines alight on water graphs showing consumption of resources, the table with the characteristics of physical and virtual machines. |
