Abstract
•Capacity allocation of imaging facilities for multiple patient types is addressed.•The joint effect of revenue and equity is considered.•A nonlinear mixed-integer model with chance constraint is proposed and solved.•The examination queuing model is analyzed from a time-slot server perspective.•Total revenue decreases as equity level increases or access time target decreases.
