Title
Single-image based methods used for non-invasive volume estimation of cancer spheroids: a practical assessing approach based on entry-level equipment.
Abstract
•Volume is one of the most important features to characterise a tumour.•Multicellular spheroids are commonly used as 3D tumour models.•We revised the exiting single-image based volume assessment methods for spheroids.•We validated ReViSP using a light-sheet fluorescent microscope, and upgraded it.•We presented a novel approach to assess effectiveness of volume estimation method.
