Several research projects whose topics are related to Smart Buildings and energy consumption management were conducted these last years. Energy-unaware behavior can decrease one-third from a building's designed energy performance. Designing Smart Buildings applications is a challenge since these applications must ensure a trade-off between energy consumption and occupants' comfort especially in smart spaces which are characterized by a frequent context change. In this work, we focus on the design of a Smart Building Manager that is able to manage the energy consumption while keeping the occupants' comfort. |
