Title
On the performance of wireless cooperative communication with opportunistic transmission
Abstract
In this paper the performance of wireless cooperative communication with opportunistic transmission is obtained. The opportunistic transmission exploits the conditions where fading amplitude is above a threshold, information which is known through a feedback link between the transmitter and the receiver. We are going to add this opportunistic concept to cooperation system for Amplify-and-Forward and Decodeand- Forward protocols. Then we evaluate the performance using Monte-Carlo simulations for three different cooperation scenarios. Results show that the proposed scenarios combat the effects of fading notably and a significant improvement in all presented cases compared to an ordinary cooperation system.
