This poster looks at adapting Intrusion Detection Systems solutions to multiple SDN based domains. We present a preliminary evaluation of the performance in terms of latency cost while offering IDS solutions as a service (IDSaaS) in SDN. The goal is to eventually be able to determine what resources are needed in order for the IDSaaS in SDN to perform in a manner that is almost comparable to running an IDS within a single SDN network. |
