Title
A Frequency Synchronization Method for Multiple Access in Direct Spectrum Division Transmission.
Abstract
This paper introduces a frequency synchronization method applicable to multiple access in direct spectrum division transmission (DSDT). In the transmitter (Tx) side, DSDT divides the single carrier modulated signal into multiple sub-spectra and assigns them to unused frequency resources. In the receiver (Rx) side, the divided sub-spectra are recombined and the single carrier modulated signal is regenerated. To realize multiple access in DSDT, we propose a frequency synchronization method that changes the filter coefficients of the combining filter sequentially based on the estimated frequency compensation value, and establishes frequency synchronization after the spectrum combination filter bank. Experiments show that it holds the C/N degradation to less than 0.7dB, regardless of the spectrum division number.
