Abstract | ||

As the increasing scale of small flow data traffic, mobile networks face the critical signaling storm problem. This paper investigates on the effects of signaling storm to Radio Network Controller (RNC) signaling board in WCDMA networks. Then, this paper calculates the ratio of signaling-load with the data extracted from WCDMA networks management platform, which can evaluate the signaling carrying capacity of the RNC equipment. The method proposed in this paper can provide guidance for network planning and optimization. |
