The internet has given us access to more data than ever. But how much of that data is based on fact? How do you know when you are looking at an opinion or even a number pulled from a hat? Evidence-based decision making can help. This workshop showcases a set of CAS research projects that range from health care to machine learning with one common thread: Analytics are integral elements that help you understand the intrinsic value of the research to students, faculty - and most important - the people who benefit from the research. |
