Abstract
A fast parameterization scheme named SUNFLUX is first used in this paper to estimate instantaneous surface solar radiation (SSR) based on products from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) sensor onboard both Terra and Aqua platforms.
