Abstract
•A novel crop mapping method in heterogeneous areas was proposed.•Pixels in the same polygons were well classified using an object-based method.•Linear objects were well classified to non-cultivated land.•Using the proposed method, crops can be mapped with an accuracy higher than 95%.
