A Novel Channel Estimation Algorithm Based on Iterative Compensation.
Abstract
To obtain accurate estimation of the channel parameters for a fluctuant multipath channel, a novel channel estimation algorithm based on iteration is proposed. By compensating estimation error of the fast correlation estimation algorithm, an improved accurate estimation for channel parameters is realized. Theoretical conclusions of the relation between compensation times and estimation performance are presented. Simulations results show that the proposed algorithm can obtain a small estimation error, low computational complexity, and anti-multipath distortion. It can estimate the channel parameters efficiently in low signal-noise-ratios situations, and improve the performance of the fast correlation channel estimation algorithm greatly in high signal-noise-ratios situations.
