A software company is inevitably needed to set up its computing infrastructure for R&D-enabled operations. Isolated infrastructure for different product teams is time-consuming to start-up and costly to maintain. The software company in this case study illustrates a shared private cloud built for all product teams to raise usage of computing infrastructure, hence to control investment cost on purpose. The private cloud includes an operation platform and a service platform that help the company optimizing the usage of computing resources. |
