Title
A Decentralized Control Strategy For Photovoltaic Sources To Unify Mppt And Dc-Bus Voltage Regulation
Abstract
This paper presents a decentralized control strategy for PV sources in DC microgrids. The proposed control method unifies MPPT control and DC-bus voltage regulation using V - dp/dv droop control. The PV sources operate in the MPPT mode when they are grid-connected and will behave as voltage sources to participate in DC-bus voltage regulation whenever necessary, such as in the standalone mode. Furthermore, the proposed strategy can coordinate multiple PV sources by proper power sharing without any communication. Finally, simulation results are presented to verify the feasibility of the proposed control strategy.
