Creating User-specific Business Process Monitoring Dashboards with a Model-driven Approach. |

Monitoring with the goal of visualizing key performance indicators using dashboards is an established way of enabling the analysis of business processes and providing quick information in critical situations. Model-driven development and design of these dashboards has proven useful in real world scenarios. However, in large organizations, dashboards need to be role-specific, as not all users are concerned by the same data. In this paper, a users-and-roles model is introduced. It extends and adapts the model-driven process monitoring methodology aPo. With this model, it becomes possible to automatically generate user-specific monitoring dashboards, properly displaying the needed information for each user in an organisation. The implementation is evaluated with a real-world use-case from the service industry. |
