Title
Spatio-temporal Distribution Pattern of Cable Car Passenger Flow in Panholidays: A Case Study of Huangshan Scenic Area.
Abstract
The impact of tourist flow in scenic areas has been studied in many areas. However, free promotions in Huangshan Scenic Area disturb the actual distribution of the tourist flow. Therefore, we innovatively introduce the concept of pan-holidays, which includes free promotions as a new holiday. Taking into account the characteristics of Huangshan Scenic Area, the passenger flow in pan-holidays and eight cable car routes are chosen as a research object and research sites respectively. Based on the peak index and k-means clustering, the experimental results are analyzed from the two angles of time and spatial distribution. Finally, the temporal and spatial distribution of cable car passenger flow in Huangshan Scenic Area are summarized during pan-holidays, and the spatio-temporal distribution pattern and the tourist route of cable car passenger flow are proposed for mountain scenic areas in China.
