Title
Non-Parametric Statistical Tests For Fuzzy Observations: Fuzzy Test Statistic Approach
Abstract
A general approach to the problem of testing statistical non-parametric tests is proposed, for the case when the available data are fuzzy and the level of significance is given as a fuzzy number. To do this, the usual concepts of test statistic and critical value are extended to the fuzzy test statistic and fuzzy critical value, by using the alpha-cuts approach. The method of decision making (to accept or reject the hypothesis of interest) is based on a suitable ranking method. A numerical example is prepaired to clarify the proposed approach.
