An active contour model based on local fitted images for image segmentation.
Abstract
•A novel local fitted image is proposed to approximate the square of the original image based on the LBF and LIF models.•A novel active contour model is proposed by constructing a local hybrid image fitting energy.•Segmentation results demonstrate that our model is better than several typical models in terms of accuracy and computational effectiveness.
