Abstract | ||

•An automatic method for the simultaneous correction of optical and perspective distortion in images is proposed.•A voting procedure is introduced to compute one or two dominant vanishing points.•Perspective correction is performed by simulating a camera motion.•The method performs well for large distortions and its computational cost is significantly low.•An online demonstration facility is provided so that any user can experiment with her/his own photos. |
