Title
The multi-sourcing location inventory problem with stochastic demand.
Abstract
•A location-inventory problem in a multi-echelon supply chain is considered.•The inventory is controlled through a reorder point order-up-to-level (s,S) policy.•We propose a two-stage stochastic mathematical model to maximize the profit.•A sample average approximation approach is used to produce near-optimal solutions.•We show the impact of the demand type and inventory costs on the design solution.
