Abstract
•Growth kinetics was integrated into a CFD model for simulating algal growth in ORPs.•Predicted and measured algal productivities in ORP with various depths well agreed.•ORP productivity increased but concentration decreased with increasing medium depth.•ORP productivity decreased but concentration increased with increasing growth time.•Harvesting algae at targeting concentration or time can increase ORP’s productivity.
