Abstract | ||

The authors propose a new color glove and finger outlines extraction method using the palm region. This glove does not have symmetry about colors for distinguish between the palm and the back of the hand. When a finger region is on the palm region, the outline of the finger is not eliminated. The authors investigated the relationship between wrist rotation angles and success rate of finger outlines extraction. As a result of experiments, the authors have confirmed that the proposed system is superior to the previous research. |
