Abstract | ||
---|---|---|
Estimating probability distribution is a primary requirement in the application of statistic based. We proposed a framework of estimating interval probability distribution in the category data with unknown information using the maximum entropy in the framework of Dempster-Shafer theory. The proposed method can approximately generate the optimal interval probability distribution considering the unknown information. Two applications are used to illustrate the procedure of the proposed framework. |
