Title
Impact of patient-specific LVOT inflow profiles on aortic valve prosthesis and ascending aorta hemodynamics.
Abstract
•Calculation of hemodynamics after virtual aortic valve surgery, using different inlet profiles.•Differences in spatially resolved parameters as wall shear stresses and velocities.•No impact of inlet profile on parameters describing flow orientation and position.•Generic profiles might be sufficient for prediction of hemodynamics after surgery.
