Abstract
•An early assessment of priorities and obstacles is a cost saving strategy but it is complex.•We use a KAOS extension to articulate migration goals and identify migration obstacles.•Combined with repository of evidential knowledge, we implement a decision making framework for supporting cloud migration.•We illustrate the approach with cloud migration case studies.
