Abstract
•Hybrid framework by GGHS using ARSM is proposed for optimization of aircraftstiffened panels.•RSM is adapted using spherical data set to improve accurate predictions of optimum condition.•Hybrid GGHS and ARSM method can improve accurate optimization compared to different HS algorithms.•ARSM can predict an accurate optimum weight and buckling load compared to the original RSM.
