Title
A Low-Complexity Intra-Field Restoring Method For Interlaced Image
Abstract
In this paper, a low-complexity intra-field restoring method for interlaced image is presented. We employ an edge detector to recognize the edge direction of each processing position, and observing the pixel correlation and edge information. To reduce the computational complexity, we use intra-field de-interlacing method. Extensive experimental results demonstrate that our design achieved excellent performance in quantitative evaluation and visual quality than other image restoring techniques. The proposed algorithm has a simple computation structure. Therefore, it is suitable for real-time hardware implementation.
