•A novel multi-objective algorithm called Multi-objective Spotted Hyena Optimizer is proposed.•The proposed MOSHO is benchmarked on 24 real challenging multi-objective benchmark test problems.•The results reveal the superior convergence behaviour and coverage of proposed MOSHO.•The results on constrained multi-objective engineering problems prove the applicability of MOSHO in real-life applications. |
